Dr Maja Green

Phd, MBA, MSc, BSc

Dr. Maja Green, a highly esteemed research scientist, has amassed over 15 years of invaluable research experience in Melbourne, Australia, specializing in areas such as paediatric glioma cell models, chronic pain, cognitive performance, neuronal plasticity, and addiction. As a distinguished McKenzie Fellow at Melbourne University and The Florey Institute of Neuroscience, she has conducted various clinical trials, including Phase 1 studies on neurocognitive performance and Phase 1-2 trials in oncology and critical care.

Dr. Green’s significant contributions led her to become the Head of Clinical Research at Metro Pain Group and, currently, the Chief Executive Officer of Vitalis Clinical Research, focusing on investigating the potential applications of psychedelic and cannabinoid compounds. With an impressive academic journey, extensive expertise, and commitment to advancing knowledge and improving research, Dr. Green stands as an exemplary figure in the scientific community.

Dr. Arul Sivanesan

Arul is an experienced GP Anaesthetist with over 15 years of service in the areas of ICU, Retrieval Medicine and General Practice. He has substantial clinical research experience in e-health, critical care and the implementation of technology at the interface with medicine.

Michelle Frans

MNSc., BSc (Pharm Sci.)

Michelle completed her Bachelor in Pharmaceutical Science and with more than 7 years experience in the phase 1 clinical trial industry, she strives to gain more knowledge in clinical research and the development of new drugs to help the most common chronic conditions like chronic pain and associated mental health problems that has impacted millions of lives around the world. She completed her Master in Nursing Science and has worked as a Registered Nurse specializing in Day Surgery and Perioperative Care. She has since extended her research experience by leading Project Twenty21 Australia, an observational study following patients prescribed medicinal cannabis for chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD and Multiple Sclerosis.

She is currently focusing on her newfound interest in psychedelics and cannabinoids research in the current state of opioid and psychoactive epidemic and limited efficacy of non-opioid analgesics. She strives to explore modern scientific development of unconventional therapeutics used by multiple cultures across the world for decades to improve the lives of patients with chronic pain and mental health problems.
