Clinical trial work is highly protocol-driven and closely scheduled. The site employs research nurses, study coordinators, sleep technologists, pharmacy and quality staff across the dosing, monitoring and specialist clinic areas.
The work
Visit schedules and sampling windows are defined by the protocol and adherence is exact. Work at the site is planned well in advance, with no unplanned admissions and no after-hours ward commitments.
Staff are trained and formally assessed against each task they perform, and GCP training is kept current. The site supports certification in the areas its protocols demand — phlebotomy and cannulation, ECG acquisition, spirometry to ATS/ERS standards, sleep technology, resuscitation and dangerous goods handling.
