On receipt of a protocol synopsis the site provides a written feasibility assessment covering recruitment, timelines and cost.

What comes back

Recruitment estimate: Projected screening and enrolment numbers against the protocol's inclusion and exclusion criteria, identifying the criteria with the greatest impact on the screening ratio.
Start-up timeline: Ethics submission, contracting and site initiation mapped against the sponsor's target first-dose date.
Indicative budget: Prepared from the schedule of assessments, with pass-through costs itemised separately.
Site profile and CVs: Investigator CVs, facility profile, equipment list, GCP training currency.
Limitations: Any aspect of the protocol the site is unable to support, identified in writing at this stage.

Turnaround: five business days from receipt of the synopsis.
